Both our treatment and rehabilitation staff have expertise in helping a full range of ages. Clinical treatment is available for children as young as four years of age as well as for adolescents, young adults, adults, and seniors. Family members are encouraged to be active participants in the treatment plan. For older adolescents and young adults with mental illness, particularly, Pathways includes the nationally recognized, evidence-based practice of Family Psychoeducation in its clinical strategies to help family members understand the illness and supportively respond to behavioral symptoms.
We are excited to announce that Pathways is expanding and opening a new adolescent clubhouse that will be serving youth 12 – 17 (or 18 if still in school) in the Southern Calvert County area! PAC will provide services to include GED and college prep; vocational and skill building; job readiness and coaching; evidence-based life skills; educational tutoring and computer lab; family engagement activities; parenting workshops; student advocacy; and case management and referrals. Our goal is to help adolescents build strong community supports; increase their positive mental health and wellness; and learn effective tools for substance use, recovery, and refusal.
